May, 22, 2013, Dallas, TX-The nose is front and center on the face so its no surprise, this feature can cause a person great discontent. Lots of people heavily scrutinize their noses and find things wrong with the, maybe they have a bump, perhaps their nostrils are too large, its crooked or in they are like former Disney star Amanda Bynes.

The blonde starlet confessed earlier this month that she had plastic surgery over Twitter like a lot of other celebrities. She told her followers that having a nose job was the most amazing thing she could have done for her self-confidence, US Weekly reported.

Bynes was apparently bothered by what she described as webbing on her nose, and had a nose job, a few years ago. She dished about the nose job because she had to explain why she was complaining about magazines a bloggers using old photos of her.

In a Tweet Bynes said, Intouch (magazine) used a photo from years ago on their cover and I hate it! The reason Ive asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I dont look like that anymore!

Further explaining, I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing (sic) in between my eyes. I wasnt going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I dont want old photos used anymore!

Bynes is just one of the many celebrities who have reaped the benefits of nose reshaping. Actress Jennifer Anniston, reality star Heidi Montag and recently Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richardson have all openly admitted to having rhinoplasty.

The nose was one of the first physical features people began to alter, since it is such a prominent feature. Early incarnations of the nose job, also known as rhinoplasty, can be traced all the way back to ancient India and throughout the centuries the technique has been practiced and perfected.

An oversized, bulbous or crooked nose can make a person feel unattractive or make their face look imbalanced. There is no harmony among the facial features. A harmonious balance between the eyes, nose and mouth is a key element of beauty and flawed or large nose can spoil an otherwise attractive face.

The nose is such an important feature that nose jobs are among the most common cosmetic surgeries, and if done right no one will be able to tell. Typically, plastic surgeons rely on the natural contours of the patients nose to give them the best results.

Skillful plastic surgeon Dr. John Freeman has concentrated his practice on perfecting and beautifying the face. Along with rhinoplasty, Dr. Freeman expertly performs a number of facial cosmetic surgeries, including facelifts, chin augmentations, cheek implants and maxillofacial surgeries at his Katy practice. He has helped numerous men and women including former Mrs. Texas candidate Laura Sherer improve their looks and their self-esteem.
